Back in my day we had flipcharts to emphasise progress against a plan, now we have “information radiators“, we used to have JavaScript, now we have WEB 2.0… Grr!!!! little has actaully changed but now that something has a cool name we jump on the band wagon with a resounding “Wahoooo this is the next BIG thing!!!”
When the shit starts hitting the fan as a project starts heading south I find that to relieve the stress and frustration it’s a good idea to inject some humour. The best way to solve an agument for example: racing grannys.
On to the process of time management, well you could use MS project, flipcharts, divination… but by far the funniest I have seen to date is lego timesheets.
But then, as usual, someone had to take it too far and turn it into a science with lego information radiators!!!
