Yes… well, for the most part… well, as usual, it depends.
In the same vein as wearing you favourite footballing tee-shirt when you are not activly involved in the process of watching a game of them playing. (Obviously Rugby shirts are exempt from this as Rugby is a real game).
Research has shown… well, my research has shown that ‘branded tee-shirts’ are worn for the following reasons.
- Nothing else clean to wear
- A need to fit in with others
- Over compensating for being gay or having a small winky
Obviously, if you have nothing else clean to wear, BUT you only have megadeath tee-shirts then you fall into one of the other 2 categories.
Research has also shown that metal music liking usually involves the lowest form of musical skill levels – you only need the ability to react violently to loud music – and is generally performed by people who are too busy to have real talents. (Performing it requires slighly more tallent, but this is inversely proportional to the volume at which it is played).
