Attack of the aquilafier

O.k. a new section has been set aside for the abuse :)

So, if you check google for the definition of aquila you will see that basically it means three things.

  • The phylum of animals including eagles
  • The standard carried at the front of a Roman marching legion
  • A constellation in the Milky Way near Cygnus; contains the star Altair

Quoting from google

The standard that was carried into battle and was the symbol of the legion. It was highly honoured by the units and they would consider it a great disgrace to have it fall into enemy hands. The carrier of the standard was know as the Aquilifer

One of my friends points out that

Wasn’t it a planet of the Altair system where the film forbidden planet was set? The one where everyone was almost killed by the monsters from the subconscious?

So the only conclusion we can assume is that aquila really are a 50’s sci-fi horror story.

I think we started something

Well, I think people are catching on and I may need to start a category dedicated to aquila and get down to some serious aquila-bashing. For those who don’t know, aquila will not even talk to you without a Consultancy Order Form - COF. This was received yesterday.

More quality

If you can think of any, please let me know. Good ones will get published.

By the way, good does not necessarily mean offensive. ;)

A sad day at aquila

Tomorrow marks a sad day in my world. One of my arch nemeses from one of our third party suppliers is moving on. I like to think it was my personal touch to negotiations that pushed him over the edge, but I have to admit it was a team effort.

Mike Finch. What can I say. You were a very good company man. Best of luck mate.

To honour such a significant day, some morale posters have been set up.

And so it begins

Dr Deviant has re-branded yet again. You will not see pretty pictures on this site, oh-no. this site has gone radically alter-ego. This site is the evil twin, the twin that hates everyone (but equally)… Lets see how long it is before I get arrested.

If you want to get back to the fluffy stuff, you may want to mail me :)
