iPad – a bitter iTablet to swallow!!

Disappointingly underwhelmed by the introduction of apples new dohicky. It’s a big iPhone without the phone, or an expensive iPod touch… They could have done so much… Obviously they couldn’t blow the macbook air out of the water completely so they have taken a slow left hook at e-book readers… but it’s hardly the death [...]

Proud new owner of a hackbook mini

I have had the bug to get a mac for several months now, but the price seemed to be a natural antibiotic. The next best thing… a hackintosh, but again the hardware compatibility means special buys, and you are not really going to save a lot… And some of the processes to convert your machine [...]

Google chrome-ism

I’m not going to in-depth review Google chrome just yet, and not cuz I think its a newfangled piece of trash, but basically I havn’t played with it yet… because I think its a newfangled piece of trash. That said. The same buddy of mine that was going to install the new google OS on [...]

PGP feel my wrath

GRRR!!!!!!
being the paranoid type, I use PGP encrypted disks for a lot of my data. It can slow playback of movies, but I found that a quad core 3GHz CPU and SATA II seems to remove most of the latency
Anyhow, due to a lack of Vista support in my free edition of 9.3, [...]
