Maybe I’m getting old, but…

I’m starting to get really hacked off with the old creationist vs scientist argument. I was fine with the thoughts of a scientist running for parliament:
Why the science candidate is standing for Parliament
Until the comment about “Wouldn’t you want to know that decisions are being made with by people who ‘do so from a position [...]

Does god have a belly button?

Well, I did quite a bit of research on this… well, I spoke to a catholic, and the answer is yes.

Politically incorrect, but copyrighted none the less

So I was watching a protest against Guantanamo Bay human rights violations and I noticed the orange jump suits… I then thought to myself “this might be a cool way of making some cash!”
I investigated a few things and I fould out that the orange jump suit and font used on it are copyrighted by [...]

Idiotic youth of today

Some numpty reckons that banning cheap booze in supermarketswill stop under-age binge drinking. Probably the same guy that reckons banning condoms will stop teenage pregnancy, or that because drugs are illegal, no-one takes them.

Someone’s going to hell for this.

I got sent this today, and I have to say, it is the funniest thing I have seen in a very long while. Needless to say that the world is going to hell in a hand basket, and these three fellas are riding that puppy home.

Don’t get me wrong, if you are found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, then like paedophiles and rapists, [...]

A mark of respect

We have just had a 2 minute silence to mark the ‘terror bombings‘ of last year in London.
This particular act of remembrance amuses me. On the one hand, I do feel for the people who were caught in the explosions, and I also feel for and understand the emotions of their families, however, the attitude [...]

The beautiful game…

… my arse.
I watched the second half of the England – Ecuador match at the weekend, and I still have my firm belief in football.
Football is a game played by tossers, supported by tossers, and commentated by tossers.
I was pretty pissed off when, a few years back now, a pub full of Portugal supporters, including [...]

Give it up for lent

While I do not subscribe to this particular religious mumbo-jumbo, I do eat pancakes and easter eggs. So I thought about giving up the following.

Axe murdering my family
Resisting the urge to ‘Go Postal’ at work
Telling little children Father Christmas is not real
Flicking the back of my daughters knees while she’s learning to walk

Thinking about it [...]
